26th May 2016 UPDATE:
No reply or acknowledgement of letter from a professional airman.
As non aircrew still continue to claim that there is ‘no evidence’ that human exposure to toxic oil fumes in a confined space causes ill health – it has been decided to publish a series of 6 blogs on how a BAe 146 pilot eventually discovered the cause of his severe chronic ill health.
John Hoyte was a commercial pilot for nearly 30 years and co-authored ‘Aerotoxic Syndrome: Aviation’s Darkest Secret’ published by Pilot Press in 2014. His blogs will be published once a month over the next five months – concluding on Sunday 22nd May 2016 @ 1700 UTC with a ‘Statement’ held by a lawyer since 2007. The blog will expose what happens to professional aircrew when they are grounded with chronic ill health. As passengers (including children) breathe the same air, they too experience identical ill health.

22nd May 2016 Statement from John Hoyte:
Her Majesty The Queen
Buckingham Palace London SW1A 1AA
11th May 2016
As a professional airman it is my duty and responsibility ‘To report a cause of illness or pestilence to public-health authorities’, for which you, as head of Government, are ultimately responsible.
I made a Statement on 22nd May 2006 to record my personal discovery of the cause of serious adverse health effects following my exposure to jet oil mist during commercial flights.
All modern jet airliners, with the exception of the ‘bleed free’ Boeing 787, use ‘bleed air’ from the jet engines to pressurize the cabin. This leads to the breathing air supply becoming contaminated by known harmful chemicals (including sheep-dip like organophosphates) as a fundamental design flaw which has been documented since 1953.
Thus on each and every flight human beings, particularly children, are being knowingly put at risk by exposure to unfiltered ‘bleed air’ which is unmonitored and where even a single exposure, can cause serious ill health symptoms.
There is now no doubt that the health and well being of the airline industry is being put ahead of human health as demonstrated by the way in which formal Statements by professional aircrew have been disbelieved and ignored for decades, whilst the public law Courts in the UK are yet to judge a single case.
I have attempted to ensure that the evidence is available for public examination by founding the Aerotoxic Association in 2007 (www.aerotoxic.org) and would draw your attention to the inquests into the premature deaths of Richard Westgate and Matthew Bass where ‘urgent action’ was called for by one of Your Majesty’s Coroners’ over twelve months ago.
It is my professional judgment that this illness not only affects your subjects, but also your heirs and successors, notably Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
I write now to formally acknowledge my personal failure to convince others with my word; but also to request that you pardon and indemnify me from future prosecution of the ongoing deliberate cover-up of evidence from you, your Parliament, and your other subjects.
I have the honour to be, Madam, Your Majesty’s humble and obedient servant.

22nd May 2006 Statement from John Hoyte:
To whom it may concern.
It has been long accepted and admitted that compressed air from jet engines has been contaminated with engine oil which contains many harmful chemicals including VOC’s and Organo phosphate substances which are universally accepted to be harmful to health with well known symptoms.
The UK Government has been aware and discussing the problem for a number of years whilst the vast majority of the public and medical profession remain completely unaware of scale and extent of the problem.
As a result of 27 pilots blood and fat being tested in March – May of 2006 with associated memory and cognitive function tests carried out at the same time by UCL (University College London) it has revealed shocking and incontrovertible evidence that there is a serious health hazard for anybody who flies in these aeroplanes; especially the crews and is therefore a serious flight safety issue. The report will be available from May 22nd 2006 but may be restricted in its distribution for obvious reasons.
Other people known to be probably effected are the entire Royal family and senior members of the Government who have flown on the BAe 146 for the last twenty years and can not have escaped the same contamination.
The BAe 146 and Boeing 757 are well known for being the worst offenders of commercial airliners, possibly due to sharing a similar make of APU or Auxiliary Power Unit and its use on the ground.
There have been many incidents and fatal accidents attributed to ‘fatigue’ and ‘pilot error’ on the BAe 146 and B. 757 over the years but never any suggestion that contaminated air is fundamentally to blame.
I wish to make it clear that due to intense covering up of the phenomenon over the past ten years or more it is now my duty to point out that any accident in the future should be regarded as probably being caused by this effect and for any suggestion that it is not a factor to be subject of a criminal enquiry and manslaughter charges for those people denying the link.
