BILLIONS of aircraft passengers are being put at risk of ill health by on-board oil fumes, it has been claimed.
Pilots are also left incapacitated or suffering fatigue, breathing problems, stomach and heart trouble.
On occasions both pilots on a flight were affected.
Researchers are calling for “aerotoxic syndrome” to be recognised as an occupational disorder.
