In 2002, the British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA) reported that only 4% of fume events are officially recorded for scientists, politicians, doctors & so called ‘lawyers’ to understand the medical effects of toxic cabin air – read the April 2005 BALPA conference report here in which these figures were published.
A fume event can occur on ANY ‘bleed air’ flight, and will affect ANY human being.
The only ‘safe jet’ still remains the ‘non bleed air’ Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
