A FORENSIC expert who carried out an autopsy on toxic air victim Richard Westgate has witnessed other fatalities linked to dangerous cabin fumes.
Dr Frank van de Goot examined the BA pilot’s body after his death in 2012 and found severe inflammation in his nervous system and heart which could not be explained.
Since then he has inspected the remains of four other aviation workers with similar signs and admitted it had left him troubled.
Speaking in Glasgow following the UK premiere of an award-winning documentary on aerotoxic syndrome, the Dutch scientist said the controversial issue merited more research.
